ARTWORK Connection to the River
Connection to the River Blush Pink Canvas Indigenous Art Print - Allow new life into your space with this enthralling and calming Aboriginal Wall Art featuring traditional Aboriginal Art techniques. Like a birds-eye-view of a flowing river, this Aboriginal Art print brings a sense of movement to your space, giving it a dynamic feel. A soft palette of blush pink shades and muted blue tones makes this piece easy to incorporate with many interior styles.
This represents Biripi peoples connection to Djarii Bila or Taree river. It is a significant river that is like the blood of the valley. It feeds our land, it is a direct connection to the mountains and the sea and it provides my people with food and cleansing. It is the beginning of the journey for the Mullet as they live and grow in this system until the waters change in the winter, the hairy grubs start to travel and the mullet travel north up our coast to the next river mouth. Our fisherman chased the mullet hauling them to the shores of our beach, crowdy bay and all the people gathered to help and share the mullet.

STRETCHED CANVAS
The stretched canvas fine art prints are professionally printed on polycotton artist canvas, using archival inks and then stretched and gallery wrapped. This means the image is stretched around a 38mm frame to create a seamless, museum-quality finish. All stretched and box framed art prints arrive ready to hang.
SHADOW BOX FRAMES
We also offer the option to add a shadow box frame to your canvas art print. A little different from a traditional framed print, the canvas sits within the box frame with a 5mm gap, creating a sophisticated shadow effect between the frame and the canvas. Our solid timber box frame mouldings are 10mm wide, and 55mm deep, and add approximately 40mm to the length and height of the listed canvas size.
